Reflections on 25 Years: Testimonials from Our Dedicated Team

“It’s hard to believe that we were a team of less than 15 people when I joined McCormick Stevenson in 2015, and now we have over 50 people and are still growing! Even more amazing is that MCCST still has the same small business culture that it had in the beginning. We’ve always focused on difficult engineering challenges, but MCCST values family too, and manages the company to keep things fun and collaborative.  I’ve been exposed to many different areas of the engineering business operation -- design engineer, software and technical SME, proposal generation, resource management, and so much more – and I’ve learned much more than I would have in a more traditional design engineering role. I’ve enjoyed watching the company grow for the past nine years and I look forward to many more!”

Zac White
Principal Engineer

“I’ve known Noel and Melissa – now MCCST’s President and CEO – since long before a company called McCormick Stevenson was even a gleam in their eyes. Over the last 25 years, that company has now grown to mirror the same great reputation in the industry that they always had. You won’t find a more generous employer that values their employees and their mission -- from working on urgent requirements for the U.S. Army to networking and mentoring students just starting to build their own careers, MCCST is the best company I’ve ever worked for!"

Rick Norman
Senior Staff Designer

“From my first meetings with MCCST, I was always impressed with the MCCST people and their focus on engineering excellence and professionalism.  And it’s all balanced in a work culture that demonstrates genuine interest in the people here. We’re a very close-knit team because of it, and that’s something I’ll never take for granted. I’m so thankful to be part of this team and what we do on behalf of the Warfighter.”

Don Halferty
Director, Modernization Programs

“I have worked at a lot of companies, from small to very large, as an employee or consultant over my career. I can truly say that none have come close to matching the exceptional company that we have in MCCST. From the important work that we do, to our management team that has guided us to success and (most importantly) maintained the values that we had as a much smaller company, to my amazing co-workers — all of whom are so great at what they do and do it with integrity (incredibly important to me) — MCCST excels. I'm very proud to work here with you all!”

Mike Krawczyk
Staff Engineer

“Even though I’ve been with MCCST for just over a year, the experience has been incredibly rewarding. As a project manager, I had the opportunity to lead the team through a major Unanet CRM and ERP conversion. What impressed me most was the collaborative spirit and the seamless teamwork throughout this challenging project. The support and trust from both management and my colleagues were exceptional, making the transition smooth and efficient. It’s rare to find a company that embraces change with such enthusiasm and resilience. MCCST not only values technical excellence but also fosters an environment where every team member’s contributions are recognized and celebrated. I am proud to be part of a company that is committed to both innovation and the professional growth of its employees."

Barb Treubig
Senior Project Manager

“Working at McCormick Stevenson under the leadership of Noel McCormick has been a truly enriching experience for over nine years. Noel exemplifies integrity, compassion, and dedication, making him not only a remarkable president but also a role model and mentor. The team I work with is exceptional—kind, brilliant, and always willing to collaborate and share knowledge, both within the company and with our clients. Our culture, nurtured by Melissa as CEO and Chief Culture Officer, fosters a sense of family where everyone feels welcomed and supported, including our families. Starting as Noel's Executive Assistant, I've grown into roles as a Business Development Specialist and Brand Ambassador, managing our digital presence and representing our company at events. The constant challenges keep me engaged and learning, supported by owners who understand personal needs and encourage a healthy work-life balance. McCormick Stevenson isn't just a workplace; it's a community where I've thrived both personally and professionally, grateful for the opportunities and looking forward to contributing to our continued success.”

A big thank you to Mike Krawczyk for his dedication to our team's safety and well-being! Each year, Mike shares valuable insights from his EMT experience during our Lunch and Learn sessions. His tips, like the importance of CPR and AED training, are invaluable. Mike's commitment to becoming a CPR instructor and offering certification classes is commendable. He even keeps his stethoscope and BP cuff handy for office check-ups! Plus, his advice on the Medical ID app has been incredibly helpful.

Thank you, Mike, for your ongoing support and expertise!

We’ve had an exciting few months as we continue celebrating our 25th anniversary!

Celebrating the Next Generation at MCCST!

As we continue to grow our business, our team has also been busy expanding our MCCST family. Over the past 18 months, we've proudly welcomed 12 new members! Parker, Ryan, Jacob, Anthony, Cody, Zac, and Dan each celebrated the arrival of a new baby (5 girls and 2 boys). Noel and Melissa are overjoyed to welcome their 12th grandchild, Bob M. celebrated the birth of his first grandchild, and Greg added three new children to his family.

As parents and grandparents, our team embodies the shared values of service, leadership, commitment, and human flourishing. We are excited to embrace and support the next generation of engineers in our MCCST family!

Honoring Veterans

In November, we paid tribute to Veterans Day by planting a field of flags along US 19 near our office. Each flag represents a veteran, symbolizing our profound gratitude and steadfast commitment to those who have served.

Thanks to the generosity of our team, we raised $1,220 for Disabled American Veterans (DAV), supporting their crucial work for our nation's heroes.

As we reflect on 25 years of progress, we are proud of the impact we've made—not only as engineers but also as a community dedicated to honoring our heroes.

In addition, during our November Lunch and Learn, the team explored our 3D manufacturing simulation capabilities using Visual Components. To make the session even more special, we enjoyed custom cookies featuring our 25th-anniversary logo!

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to mark this milestone anniversary in style !
