We were honored to participate in the SMD Small Business Showcases over the past two years, hosted by the Huntsville Association of Small Businesses in Advanced Technology (HASBAT). This prestigious event provides a platform for companies like ours to present innovative solutions to all SMD Symposium Government and Industry attendees.
In 2024, Alec Holste showcased McCormick Stevenson Corporation's 3D Manufacturing Simulation capabilities, highlighting its role in optimizing DoD Industrial Base Expansion through enhanced productivity, efficiency, and flexibility. Integrated with Digital Twin and aligned with Industry 4.0, this simulation allows for rapid 3D layout modifications, process optimization, expedited commissioning, and informed capital expenditure decisions, all while fostering collaborative customer input.
In 2023, J.B. Wright showcased our comprehensive Manufacturing Engineering capabilities. His presentation focused on strategies to increase manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product reliability, quality, and yield. Key capabilities covered included Manufacturing Equipment Design, Prototyping, Reverse Engineering, Quality Assurance Support, Inspection & Reporting, and more.

The SMD Symposium
The SMD Symposium is a premier event that unites government and industry leaders in Space and Missile Defense. Attendees have the unique opportunity to hear directly from senior leaders across key organizations such as the Missile Defense Agency, Space and Missile Defense Command, Strategic Command, Northern Command, Space Command, Army Futures Command, Army Materiel Command, PEO Missiles and Space, and many of the leading companies in the Space and Missile Defense industry.
The event features special panels, technology tracks, an exhibit hall with technology demonstrations, and networking opportunities. Key sessions include a Cyber, Space, and Special Operations Panel, Warfighter Panel, and a Small Business Showcase.
Taking place in Huntsville, AL—home to over 70 federal entities on Redstone Arsenal and the renowned Cummings Research Park—the symposium offers a rich environment for defense professionals to gain the latest industry insights, engage with top organizations, and explore one of the world's leading hubs for science, technology, and defense innovation.
